'Rock Band Network' to launch
Published Sunday, Jul 19 2009, 10:32 BST | By Mark Langshaw

The service will launch later this year, enabling musicians with an XNA Creators Club membership to sell their projects online. Reaper Digital Audio Workstation software is required to add note charts for each instrument.
Membership to the XNA club will cost $49.99 (£30) for four months or $99.99 (£61) annually. Musicians will be able to price their songs between 50 cents (30p) and $3 (£1.83), after they earn approval from the community.
Tracks will be initially exclusive to the Xbox 360 version of Rock Band, but MTV Games has confirmed that some songs may find their way onto the PS3 and Wii editions in the future.
