Sega delays 'Bayonetta' until 2010
Sega has delayed the Western release of its upcoming action title Bayonetta until 2010.

The firm's third-person answer to Devil May Cry was due to be released in November, but it announced that it will now be available in January 2010.

Sega claimed that the game, which will still be released in Japan during October, has been delayed in order to "maximise its potential".

"As a result of market analysis we have taken a publishing decision that January 2010 is the optimum release time in the western markets to maximise this exciting new title's potential," a Sega analyst told CVG.

Bayonetta is being developed by Platinum Games for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
