Activision confirms 'Blur' release date
Published Thursday, Aug 6 2009, 16:58 BST | By Andrew Laughlin

Speaking yesterday in a financial call with reporters, Activision's president and chief executive of publishing Mike Griffiths confirmed the game's release window.
"Blur had a strong showing at E3 as well, including the nomination for best racing game," he said.
"We're excited to be entering this genre and we think the game itself sets us apart from the competition and will establish a new franchise for the company."
Mixing racing with combat elements, Blur is being developed by Bizarre Creations, which previously worked on the Project Gotham Racing series. Read our full preview of the game here.
