Episodic 'Fable II' announced

Fable II: Game Episodes will split the 2007 RPG into five chapters, with the first available free.
After playing through to adulthood, gamers can choose to purchase additional chapters or opt out.
It will also be possible to purchase the entire game through Xbox Live or continue through a retail copy.
The two downloadable content packs Knothole Island and See The Future will also be fully compatible.
Fable II: Game Episodes will be available from September 29.
The announcement was part of Microsoft's press conference at gamescom 2009, which also saw Fable III revealed and dated.
