'Lego Rock Band' heading for DS
Published Thursday, Aug 20 2009, 10:42 BST | By Mark Langshaw

The studio unveiled the game at this week's Gamescom 2009, where it was praised for its 3D graphics and high sound quality.
Several songs from its tracklist were revealed at the conference, including 'Ruby' by the Kaiser Chiefs, 'Monster' by the Automatic and Ray Parker Jr's Ghostbusters theme tune. As the game is geared towards families, all suggestive content and explicit lyrics have been removed.
The game is controlled using the handheld system's stylus and buttons, with no add-on peripherals required. Its microphone is supported, but will be used to trigger overdrive mode, rather than pick up vocals.
Single player mode will see users switching between instruments, while local multiplayer gaming will also be supported.
Lego Rock Band will arrive on the DS for Christmas 2009.
