Midway changes name to Tradewest

Spiess, who is the firm's international executive vice president, purchased the regional offices yesterday, as well as the rights to Tradewest Games - a former publishing partner of Midway's.
The move follows the management buyout of the company's German leg, which wasn't part of last month's Warner Brothers takeover.
"Under the name Tradewest Games, we will as of now be acting as a European full service provider in the fields of game distribution and publishing," said Spiess.
"We have access to a wide-reaching global network of game developers and international partners from all relevant areas of the games industry."
