Namco Bandai to release 'Titans' tie-in
Japanese holding company Namco Bandai has confirmed that it will release a video game tie-in to next year's big screen blockbuster Clash Of The Titans.

Currently in development with Game Republic, the action-adventure title will be released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Its storyline will follow the film's plot, while expanding its universe.

According to IGN, over 100 creatures from Greek mythology will appear in the game, including harpies, minotaurs and wraiths. Gameplay will take place across numerous locations in ancient Greece, from snowy peaks to lava-rich areas.

Its movie counterpart is a remake of the 1981 film of the same name, loosely based on the Greek myth of Perseus. The project is helmed by Louis Leterrier, with Sam Worthington playing the lead.

The Clash Of The Titans video game will be released alongside the film on March 26, 2010.
