'Monster 4x4: Stunt Racer' bound for Wii

Monster 4x4: Stunt Racer will be released for Nintendo Wii later this year, publisher Ubisoft has announced.

The upcoming sequel to World Circuit will feature bigger vehicles with larger wheels, as well as more elaborate stunts.

"Monster 4x4: Stunt Racer is a game the fans of Monster Truck: World Circuit have been restlessly waiting for," said Ubisoft marketing director John Parkes. "Players will get to experience more excitement, upgraded features and the exhilarating action of steering the world's most powerful trucks while tearing through new extreme off-road racing circuits."

Seven new courses, from construction sites to canyons, will be available to choose from, with each track featuring alternate routes of varying difficulty. Multiplayer support will allow up to four to play at once in a split-screen format.

Monster 4x4: Stunt Racer will be available in the autumn.
