Game On expo cancelled
Published Friday, Sep 18 2009, 11:33 BST | By Matthew Reynolds

Originally scheduled for last June and recently delayed until November, organisers Creative Games Media cancelled the event due to the current economic climate.
"The economic climate of 2009 and short timeline with which the new Game On London management team took over has proven too challenging to launch a mass-market consumer gaming event of the magnitude and quality that the UK market merits," said a statement to MCV.
It also explained that ticket holders will be fully reimbursed and that organisers will attempt "an event of significant magnitude" in the near future.
The event was expected to have over 20,000 attendees.
