Nintendo denies Wii price cut

According to Kotaku, Walmart, Toys 'R Us and Target have all started to advertise the Wii at $199 from September 27.
However, in a statement to CVG, Nintendo has denied that it is planning to reduce the price of the Wii in the UK or the US.
"This is rumour and speculation as Nintendo have made no announcements on price. Furthermore this is most likely retailer-led, much in the same way retailers in the UK offer price promotions on our products."
The Wii currently has a RRP of £179.99 in the UK.
