Sony confirms 250GB PS3 bundles

Sony Computer Entertainment has confirmed that a series of 250GB PS3 bundles will launch next month in the UK.

Available from October 1, the first bundle will include a 250GB slim version of the console, along with Infamous or any two Sony Platinum games.

A further bundle will launch on October 16 with Naughty Dog's Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. Both packages will be priced at £284.99.

Alternatively, Sony will start offering a Blu-ray film bundle on October 19, including copies of X-Men Origins: Wolverine, The Dark Knight and also a Blu-ray remote.

The announcement follows Microsoft's recent unveiling of a forthcoming 250GB HDD Xbox 360 with Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 branding.
