A price for the football sim is yet to be announced, although rumours have suggested it will cost around £5.99. It is thought that EA will offer the game at a budget price on the day of release, as it did with Madden NFL 10.
The game features full commentary and a licenced soundtrack, as well as 12,620 authentic players, 30 leagues and 570 teams. It will also include the 'Be A Pro' mode, where the user takes control of an individual player across multiple seasons.
Online multiplayer will not be included, although the local wi-fi option will allow players to square off against each other.
In addition to its iPhone launch, FIFA 10 will be available for PS3, Xbox 360, PC, DS, PSP, N-Gage and mobile phones on October 2.
