Cecil, Gibbons 'working on new adventures'

Charles Cecil stated that they would rather work on new games than continue to remake their back catalogue.
"We will work on original adventure games," he told DS. "We have a long list of ideas and the point is that since we're generally self-funded we're not under commercial pressures, we're not under time scales, it's just vital to get it right."
Asked whether the new titles will follow the same formula as previous works, he replied: "No, not necessarily, it's absolutely vital."
Watchmen co-creator Dave Gibbons added that future projects are unlikely to be styled realistically.
"It's the suspension of disbelief. People are willing to suspend their disbelief if it's an enjoyable enough experience. I like things done with style, seeing a world through someone else's eyes, and that's the sort of thing we can bring to it."
Beneath A Steel Sky: Remastered is available now on iPhone.
