Microsoft has announced that a playable demo of forthcoming game Band Hero is now available on Xbox Live.
According to Larry Hyrb's Major Nelson blog, the demo includes Finger Eleven's 'Paralyzer', 'Walking on Sunshine' by Katrina & The Waves and Taylor Swift's 'Picture to Burn'. The taster also gives access to the Party Play mode and the all-new Sing-Along challenge.
As a spinoff to the Guitar Hero series, Band Hero will feature 65 new and classic tracks from artists such as Jesse McCartney, The Turtles and Janet Jackson.
Maroon 5's Adam Levine and country singer Swift will further be recreated in the game as playable characters.
Band Hero will be released for Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, DS and Wii in early November.
