The DSi LL, which has a 4.2 inch screen, will arrive in the territory next month. Priced at ¥20,000 (£130), the upgrade was issued for customers who wish to use the device as an internet browser and music player.
Bundled with two touch pens, one short and one long, the new model includes three built-in DSiWare titles - DS Easy Dictionary and two Brain Training titles.
It will be launched in three colours: Dark Brown, Wine Red and Natural White.
The DSi LL will be available in Japan on November 21. It will arrive in Europe during the first quarter of 2010.
