Sony: 'Home no longer a priority'

Speaking at the London Games Conference, the director said that the firm has proved that there is a market for the online community and no longer sees its development as its first concern.
"It's been a long road," he said. "We've proved there is a market out there and we've got a lot of people that spend a lot of time in [Home]. It's not a priority right now but there is a business model there."
Home is a community-based social gaming networking service launched by Sony Computer Entertainment in 2008. A similar network for the PSP called RooM is currently being beta tested in Japan.
Edwards previously revealed that the average European Home user spends an average of 56 minutes with the service per session.
