The Wii update, which was released in Japan last year, will become available on January 22, 2010.
The game is a direct port of the original title, but will feature updated controls. The Wii Remote, Nunchuck, classic controller and Gamecube controller can all be used.
The first game was released in Europe in 2003 and allowed players to control Rebecca Chambers and Billy Coen the day before the events of the original Resident Evil.
