The versus fighter arrived on consoles in North America on October 27 and in Europe on October 30. It is available in standard retail, Arcade Stick and limited edition versions.
Featuring the biggest cast of characters in the franchise's history, the sequel includes a new Scenario Campaign mode, high-definition visuals and online multiplayer support.
"This is a big day for us. The European market and fans have always been very important to the success of Tekken so we're thrilled that Tekken 6 will finally be in their hands today," said director Katsuhiro Harada on the day of the game's release.
He added: "More than 50% of Tekken fans worldwide are from Europe and their feedback has played a crucial role in helping to shape the game. Reflecting this, many of the new characters added are from Europe. I hope everyone enjoys Tekken 6 and that they continue to support the franchise, and I look forward to seeing you all online."
Tekken 6 made its debut in Japanese arcades in 2007. It is now available worldwide for Xbox 360 and PS3.
