In the adventure game, players take on the role of Toku who must track down his lost mother with help from the wind spirit Enril.
Priced at 1,000 Wii Points (£7), the title was launched on Nintendo's shopping channel on October 9 as the 100th WiiWare game released in Europe to date.
Frontier chairman and founder David Braben said: "The hugely positive response there has been to Winter Of The Melodias is really heart-warming, and the team really appreciate this as it justifies all the effort and care they put into it."
