Next 'Zelda' to support Wii MotionPlus
The next Wii entry in Nintendo's acclaimed Legend Of Zelda series will use the Wii MotionPlus peripheral, Games Life reports.

According to company exec Shigeru Miyamoto, the game uses the accessory to simulate realistic swordplay and offer a more accurate targeting system.

"In this [instalment of the series], we're using MotionPlus to make you feel much more like you're actually fighting while holding a sword in your hand," he said at a Q&A session in Tokyo.

"In the previous game, you aimed at things by pointing at the screen, but this time we'll use MotionPlus to create a much more convenient targeting system and a more pleasurable playing experience."

It is not known whether the device will be mandatory to play the game, or merely enhance the experience.

Concept art for the title was shown earlier this year at the E3 Expo. It is expected to be released some time in 2010.
