'Operation Flashpoint: DR' DLC launched
Codemasters has today launched downloadable content for first-person-shooter Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising.

Available now for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, the Skirmish pack features four new multiplayer maps and two new Fire Team Engagement (FTE) missions.

The two Infiltration maps include the "sprawling complex" of Lumberyard and the room-to-room battles of White Fang.

Alternatively, the Annihilation maps include a fight between armour and infantry on the rolling valleys of Stomping Grounds and the close quarters killing of Force Dispersal.

The new FTE missions include All Round Defence, where players must use air support and attack choppers to defend a fortified complex from waves of the PLA; and Uphill Struggle, where gamers are tasked with capturing a bunker in a hail of heavy fire from hillside positions. Both missions can be played alone or co-operatively.

The pack is priced at 400 Microsoft Points / £3.19 on PSN, or free for PC gamers. On the consoles, it will be accompanied by a title update featuring improvements to the multiplayer and single-player modes.
