'Play TV' adds HD support in Europe
Published Friday, Nov 6 2009, 14:07 GMT | By Matthew Reynolds

Version 1.21 will support DVB-T broadcasts, allowing the device to play, pause and record high definition television through the PS3.
Countries in Europe that broadcast in high-definition can use the feature from today.
The update also includes improved standard definition upscaling, providing a clearer picture on HD sets.
Those with the PS3 firmware 3.0 update can now use Aino-supported Sony Ericsson phones as a remote controller.
Play TV was launched last year, allowing users to play and record Freeview through their PS3.
