Steam 'Modern Warfare 2' pushed forward
Published Wednesday, Nov 11 2009, 10:48 GMT | By Matthew Reynolds

Originally scheduled for the evening of November 12, it will now unlock later tonight at 11:59pm.
Users who have already purchased the title can download and install the game files ready for the midnight release.
The Steam version will support Steamworks, which stores game saves, controls and achievements for remote access from other systems.
The move has caused other digital distribution services to boycott the game, while further controversy arose when it was confirmed that the title will only support 18 players as opposed to the standard 32.
PC users who obtained the game from retail outlets have been able to play the title since purchase.
The 360 and PS3 versions were released earlier this week.
