Action role-playing game Vagrant Story is to be released on the PlayStation Network.
The announcement was included in a newsletter to European Square Enix members, originally dating the game for release this week, according to Kotaku.
Subsequent newsletters have retracted the date, but still confirm that the game will arrive on the service.
It will be part of the PSOne Classics range, allowing users to play the title in upscaled high definition on their PS3 or portably with the PSP.
Vagrant Storywas released on the PlayStation in 2000 and followed Ashley Riot in an action-adventure with role-playing elements that included weapon crafting, strategy and exploration.
Developed by Square Enix, it was set in the world of Ivalice, the location of the Final Fantasy Tactics series and Final Fantasy XII.
The title arrived in Japan earlier this year. A North American release has yet to be confirmed.
