'Silent Hill' Wii gets release date
Published Saturday, Nov 14 2009, 11:46 GMT | By Mark Langshaw

A release date for the PSP and PS2 versions of the game is yet to be confirmed, but the studio has promised an announcement "in the near future".
Shattered Memories is a remake of the 1999 original, comprising updated graphics, new context and additional content. The Wii edition will feature platform-specific features that untilise the system's controller.
"Silent Hill: Shattered Memories begins just like the original as Harry Mason is searching for his daughter through the snowy streets of the haunted Silent Hill where he will encounter a cast of unique characters," explains Konami.
"However, this time, players are equipped with only a flashlight and cellphone to get story information, solve puzzles and navigate the darkness while escaping the demons that lurk among them. In addition, a psych-profiling feature has been added to analyse players and adjust itself to their actions, making this the most customisable and terrifying survival horror title to date."
Silent Hill: Shattered Memories is released for the Wii on December 8.
