'Halo 3: ODST' sells 3 million
Published Monday, Nov 16 2009, 08:37 GMT | By Liam Martin

According to IGN, the sales are in excess of three million; half of which were generated within its first month on the shelves.
The figures were revealed by Microsoft's Dennis Durkin at the BMO Capital Markets conference in New York. However, it wasn't specified whether the sales were solely fuelled by North American purchases.
The game, which recently dropped to fifth in the 360's weekly game charts, sees players searching for fallen comrades in New Mombasa.
Halo 3: ODST was released for the Xbox 360 on September 22.
