'Deus Ex'
After several articles online suggested that a console release has been ruled out, Eidos community manager René Valen defied the stories.
"Only the PC version has been announced so far," he said on the official forum. "The magazine coverage we had last year were all PC... [but] I dunno where that website is getting its info from!"
The title was recently announced as being in co-production with Square Enix, who will be creating the computer-generated cutscenes and handling publishing.
It will be a prequel to the PC-exclusive Deus Ex that was released in 2000, which later received a PC and Xbox sequel Invisible War in 2003.
