PSPgo to get external UMD add-on?

Sony has been criticised for not including the technology in its latest handheld iteration, preventing owners of previous versions of the platform from playing their game collection on the device.
According to CVG, a source from within Logitech has confirmed the development of the add-on. "The only problem is that it'll make the PSP a little bulky," they said.
However, when the publication contacted the firm's UK office, it was told: "We're not aware of it, so it may be something the US office is working on". Sony is yet to comment on the speculation.
It is thought that the rumoured hardware will connect to the PSPgo's memory stick port on the left side of the system, as previous add-ons have with previous iterations.
Reports from the Tokyo Game Show in September suggest that Sony is planning to revert back to UMD hardware for the PSP-4000, rumoured for release in 2010.
