The job advert, which was posted on Gamasutra, calls for an experienced designer to help develop "level layout, scenario creation, prototype modelling, event scripting, entity placement, pacing, balancing and gameplay tuning".
"We are about to begin work on an exciting new Action project and are looking for an experienced senior Level Designer to help," the posting explained.
The ad cites Prince Of Persia, Assassin's Creed and Halo as influences, specifying that the successful applicant needs to have their "finger on the pulse of open world and FPS games".
Dead Rising 2 is due to be released for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC in Q1 2009.
