Green Day receive 'Rock Band' treatment

The firm announced Green Day: Rock Band at the Spike Video Game Awards, revealing that the title will be released in 2010.
Fans will be able to play as band members Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool, and play songs and venues from their entire career.
Vocalist and guitarist Armstrong said: "We've worked with the Rock Band team in the past year to enable our fans to play tracks from 21st Century Breakdown, and we're excited to now be working on a game spanning our entire career."
According to MTV, the game will be released for the Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii in 2010.
