Business development director Anthony De Sa Ferriera said that it has contacted a variety of licensers, including Sega and Capcom, for current generation updates.
"We managed to get some other licenses, but to be honest for the moment we have no answers from licensers such as Sega or Capcom," he told DS.
"We are interested to work on some old IP like Wonderboy, Ghouls 'N Ghosts, Windjammers, Dungeon & Dragons: Shadow over Mystara or Cadillacs and Dinosaurs.
"Maybe after releasing our Toki remake we'll be directly contacted," he added.
Based in France, Golgoth Studio is currently working on downloadable remakes of Toki and Joe & Mac.
