'Heavy Rain' DLC detailed

Developer Quantic Dream has outlined its plans regarding downloadable content for the upcoming Heavy Rain.

The DLC will be titled Heavy Rain Chronicles. It will feature a series of playable scenes which provide additional information on the central characters. Chronicle One will focus on journalist Madison Paige.

Heavy Rain: Chronicle One - The Taxidermist sees the reporter investigating a reclusive taxidermist and finding herself in grave danger. The episode is described as an expansion of the original Taxidermist demo, first seen in 2008.

Chronicle One will be available following the game's release in early 2010. Chronicle Two will be released shortly after. However, the content will be available earlier as part of the recently announced Heavy Rain: Collector's Edition.

Packaged in a special rain-effect slipcase, the Collector's Edition comes with a voucher to download Chronicle One from PSN, along with the game's official soundtrack and an XMB theme.

An official release date for Heavy Rain is yet to be announced.
