The musician provided DLC tracks for the original game, which was released in October last year. It was previously reported that Activision and FreeStyleGames are already working on a follow up to the rhythm action title.
Speaking to Kelowna, Guetta confirmed that he will be returning for the second instalment of the game. "I think it's amazing, this game, and I'm going to work on the number two version," he said.
"It's a really crazy game. After 10 minutes, you get the rush that a DJ gets after 10 years of practising. I have fun with it, but you know what? I can't go to the maximum level. It's too difficult for me. It's crazy."
DJ Hero is available for PS3, PS2, Xbox 360 and Wii. A potential release window for the sequel is yet to be announced.
