The publisher told G4TV that the adventure sequel will still be developed, despite reports last year that it was put on hold.
It also confirmed that I Am Alive will be going ahead, but added that there is no additional information regarding either project.
Designed by Rayman series creator Michel Ancel, Beyond Good & Evil was a critically-acclaimed multiplatform adventure title released in 2003.
A sequel for the current generation console was announced in late 2008.
