Players to be Origami Killer in 'Rain' DLC

Quantic Dream's David Cage has revealed that Heavy Rain's forthcoming downloadable content will allow players to become the Origami Killer.

Unveiled last month, the game's DLC will be titled the Heavy Rain Chronicles and feature a series of playable scenes which provide additional information on the central characters.

Split into two chapters, the extra content is designed to act as a mini-prequel to the main game's story, while also adding around an hour to the gameplay.

According to Eurogamer, Cage told Gameblog.fr that the Chronicles will enable players to discover why the Origami Killer is so obsessed with murder.

Heavy Rain: Chronicle One - The Taxidermist will see journalist Madison Paige investigating a reclusive taxidermist but running into trouble.

The second chronicle will focus on FBI profiler Norman Jayden, including how he became addicted to prescription drug Triptocaine.

Heavy Rain will be released in the UK exclusively for PS3 on February 26, with Chronicle One arriving on the PlayStation Network shortly after.
