Speaking during a financial presentation, Nintendo executive Satoru Iwata told investors that the next Wii edition of the iconic series will be presented during the annual event.
"Super Mario Galaxy 2, a Mario action title in 3D world, will be launched this year. And, we will show the new Zelda title for Wii at this year's E3," he said.
Earlier this month, the Nintendo president revealed that the game will arrive in 2010, despite Nintendo of America boss Reggie Fils-Aime playing down such reports.
Official details of the next Legend Of Zelda are yet to emerge, but Nintendo did present concept art for the game at last year's E3.
