According to THQ, All Star Karate sees players "punch, kick and chop their way through the game with play features based on real karate moves".
In it, players will follow the journey of a karate novice as they try to attain a black belt from their "cantankerous" sensei.
The game will also feature a multiplayer sparring mode, and will support the Wii Motion Plus.
All Star Karate is due to be released this spring.
