The Braid creator unveiled concept art and the direction of the game, which will be a puzzle-adventure set on a deserted island.
Described as being "very visual", the title will focus on dynamic lighting effects to emphasise and highlight objects within the game world.
"I wanted to develop a graphical style that values simplicity. It would be suited to mellower environments, with both indoor and outdoor settings. Some kind of global illumination solution seemed like the right idea here," he told the game's official site.
It was also confirmed that one of the opening images will be a dark corridor ending in a door, with a mystery surrounding your identity and why you are there.
Last year, Blow told DS that the title may use motion control in "a relatively simple way".
