According to a profile on the Internet Movie Database, actor Vincent Martella will provide the voice for Batman's famous sidekick in the sequel.
However, WBIE told Kotaku that is the listing is "inaccurate" as details of the follow-up to 2009's Batman: Arkham Asylum have not yet been disclosed.
"To our knowledge, what you asked about is inaccurate information," said the publisher. "We are not yet discussing details for the sequel."
Last July, Batman: Arkham Asylum game director Sefton Hill told Eurogamer that he "loves" Robin, before adding that there are "lots of exciting ideas" around co-op between the character and Batman.
Batman Arkham Asylum II is scheduled for release in the US at some point this year, but no platforms or further details have been announced as yet.
In February, WBIE confirmed its acquisition of a majority stake in the game's developer Rocksteady studios.
