Speaking to Connected Consoles, a SCEE representative explained that the original game is being used to demonstrate PlayStation Move, but a follow-up has not been announced.
"As demonstrated recently at GDC, LittleBigPlanet has been shown as an example of how an existing game could benefit from PlayStation Move Motion Controller support," said the rep.
"This is not a confirmation of LittleBigPlanet 2, and we do not have any announcements to make about the LittleBigPlanet franchise."
Developed by Media Molecule, LittleBigPlanet was released for the PS3 in 2008. A PSP version arrived the following year.
