The 3D fighter, which was originally released on the arcade, will arrive in the UK on Friday, April 16.
The game, which is set in Japan during the end of the Edo period, features more than 20 characters, as well as an online ranking system.
Rising Star's Martin Defries said: "Not only does the Samurai Shodown series have incredible heritage, but the fact it's still evolving 16 years down the line after 10 solid instalments proves that gamers' appetites are as strong as ever for this classic fighting franchise."
The original Samurai Showdown made its debut in 1993.
