A sequel to the platform game was officially announced today for release on the PlayStation 3 later in the year.
Speaking to CVG, Media Molecule co-founder Alex Evans promised that LittleBigPlanet 2 will go the "whole hog" for the new Move motion controller.
However, he revealed that the game will most likely not launch with direct support for the device, but it will instead become available later as DLC.
"You'll be able to get a direct control Move seat and be able to wire up the Move however you like. We won't come in and dictate, 'This is how Move works in LittleBigPlanet'," said Evans.
"That does mean we may not get Move out for the Blu-ray [release] - it may have to be DLC. In fact it will almost certainly have to be DLC but I'm hoping that on day one there will be playable Move levels."
