The three new stories, which will be released today on the Nintendo DSi Shop, are being made available under the EA FLIPS interactive books service.
"I think it's great that my horror stories are going to be available on the DSiWare service," said Horowitz, who also created the Alex Rider series of spy novels.
"It's the best of both worlds... the fun and interactivity of a computer game combined with the pleasure of reading. This is definitely the way forward."
The new stories are part of a horror collection titled More Bloody Horowitz, which will published by Walker Books in September.
