It is thought that the title will be the next entry in the popular puzzle series, the final chapter in a trilogy of prequels.
The game will follow The Devil’s Flute, and The Mask of Miracles, slated for release in Japan in the autumn. The storyline is expected to involve time travel.
Professor Layton And The Last Time Travel, the concluding chapter in the original trilogy is yet to be released outside Japan. It is scheduled to arrive in Europe and North America in the autumn.
