A source close to CVG has indicated that the Metal Gear Solid creator is planning to unveil the project at this year's Tokyo Games Show.
According to the report, the "massive PS3 exclusive" was originally slated for an E3 appearance, but Kojima opted to continue working on the title to "ensure it's bulletproof" ahead of its unveiling.
Konami is allegedly attached as publisher, though the firm is yet to offer any official announcement to this effect.
The Tokyo Games Show will run between September 16 and September 19.
