
Sources told TechCrunch that the deal was made in secret in the last month and will become the "cornerstone" of the platform's launch when it arrives later this year.
Zynga has raised over half a billion dollars in venture capital within the last year, with Softbank Capital, Digital Sky Technologies and Tiger Global among the investors.
The firm is known for releasing FarmVille and Mafia Wars on social networking sites.
Zynga struck a five-year partnership with Facebook earlier this year.
