Also detailed was the Collector's Edition for the game, which will include a 7" plushie of Sackboy, themed bookends and a suite of pre-order costumes including Ratchet, Clank, Gonzo from The Muppets and a range of animals. It will retail for $79.99 (£51).
LittleBigPlanet 2 has recently gone into the Alpha stage of development, with Media Molecule noting: "While we have a ton of work to do, we're that much closer to release."
The first game was released in late 2008.
