Script delaying 'Gears Of War' movie
Published Tuesday, Jul 27 2010, 12:16 BST | By Matthew Reynolds

Series designer Cliff Bleszinksi explained that the original script chosen by director Len Wiseman would have cost $100 million to make, would have been rated-R and contained no love story, according to Cinema Blend.
Since Wiseman left the project in April, the aim is to create something "more like District 9" than 2012 and with a tighter budget before pursuing a director to take on the film.
Gears Of War 3 will be released on April 8, 2011.
