Lovefilm bound for consoles

According to Edge, the firm has signed a deal with technology provider Widevine to bring its digital catalogue to PS3, Wii and iPad.
"In addition to Wii and PS3 on the near term roadmap for Widevine to enable for Lovefilm are iPad, Mac, PC, Andriod, Humax STB and SharpTV," said a Widevine representative.
A Lovefilm spokesperson added: "The Widevine platform allows us to distribute content with ease which is important with the latest developments in technology and it also ensures our members receive the best possible viewing experience.
"We have a strategy of being on as many devices/platforms as possible."
