Speaking to ShogunGamer, voice actor David Kaye suggested that another entry in the platform series is likely to arrive before Resistance 3.
When asked whether he would be reprising his role as Resistance protagonist Nathan Hale, he responded: "Don't know about Nate. There are some interesting developments always coming from Insomniac Games. We're working on more R & C currently."
Last week, Insomniac said that it will be revealing a "PlayStation 3 project" sometime between now and September, fuelling speculation that it will unveil the mystery title at Gamescom later this month.
Gamescom takes place in Cologne between August 18 and August 22.
